  • any risks and complications

Insured patients

The MOLE Clinic and our Consultants are recognised by BUPA and all leading private medical insurers.

Initial Consultation Fees and Procedure Fees, for skin lesions diagnosed by our TELEDerm Service as suspect for skin cancer, are usually covered by medical insurers (subject to their policy terms and conditions, exclusions and excesses).

Insured patients should telephone their insurer in advance of their Initial Consultation with a MOLE Clinic Consultant to confirm the name of the Consultant and to obtain a Pre-Authorisation Number. Please advise us of the Pre-Authorisation Number prior to your appointment.

If you provide us with a Pre-Authorisation Number, we will bill your insurer directly for all fees covered by your policy and we will only bill you for any balance due.

If you do not provide us with a Pre-Authorisation Number, or you are insured by a non-UK based insurance company, our Self-Pay Patients terms above will apply and we will provide you with a receipted invoice for you to submit to your insurer for re-imbursement.

Patients remain responsible for payment of all fees and costs until full payment is received from their insurer and will be required to pay any fees and costs not paid by the insurer within 3 months of the procedure.

Our Initial Consultation Fee of £125 is payable at booking and is refunded at your appointment if you have a Pre-Authorisation Number.

Please note if you wish all your moles checked, you should book a MOLECheck instead.
