Mole Removal & Biopsy

  • Recommended for adults with a suspect mole

Pre-Procedure Consultation - £195

If you have a mole identified as requiring referral by a MOLE Clinic doctor or by your own GP, we can offer you a consultation with a Consultant usually within just a few days.

The Consultant will clinically review the mole and advise if removal is needed. If so, they will discuss the method of removal (shave or formal excision) and the procedure costs, recovery, likely outcomes, meeting your expectations, risks and complications.

If you wish to go ahead with the procedure, this can usually take place immediately if you had indicated at booking that you would like this to happen. The consultation and procedure normally take around 30 minutes in total.

For self-pay patients, the Consultation costs £195 and the procedure fees if you proceed are in addition to this and set out below. The self pay procedure fees are a package that includes Consultant and Clinic charges

For patients using their medical insurance, the Consultant and Clinic will charge your insurer separately and if the treatment has been pre-authorised these should be paid in full by your insurer subject to any policy excess , co-payment or exclusion.

When I wanted a hospital check-up, I had to wait two months for an appointment. I then waited two hours and was seen for little longer than two minutes. I should have gone to The MOLE Clinic.
